I think the balck background works really well as you have brightened up the dull colour with a shocking pink and blue :). The blue colour you have used doesnt really match your layout all that well though. I like the little header in the title bit at the top.
Layout (4/5)
I honestly don't think I have seen one like this before, so you seem to be going for a unique look for your site, excellent. I like the way you have random words mixed in with your layout, but maybe on your next one write who the person is so we all know lol!
CSS (7/10)
As I have said before the colours don't exactly match but you have used it and used it well. The header above the content bit off your page is thicker than all the rest of your headers. I would change that if you have done it on purpose or try to if that's just the way it went lol. All the rest of your CSS matches and keeps to the pink and blue theme. Oh wait ... I've spotted that your bullets are pink and green. If you change that your mark will go up!
Content (10/15)
You have fair amount of content on your site but not a huge, fantastic amount. You have worked hard on the quality of all the pages though, you can tell. That's why it looks really nice. If you could just add more you site would be fantastic. You could maybe add some more tutorials for some different programs or haloscan since you use that? I would also put your PNG's in your graphics part of yuor site because it doesnt look right when you see the grpahics category and then your PNG's not in it lol. All in all good job =).
Spelling (4/5)
I can only see one or two spelling errors, so this really isn't a problem. Yay!
Organization (4/5)
You have everything where it is supossed to be, so that's good. You have all yout page looking the same and your homepage has the side-bar and the content bit side - by - side which looks really nice!
Updates (4/5)
You have three blogs and a whole section in your side-bar with your updates, so you obviously are updating lots. Since your site has only been open 2 weeks the updates are fantastic.
Overall
Your site is excellent and will become even better by changing a couple of these pointers. I really like your site and hope this review will get people to visit you more!
